The 4KPR-15R is designed to provide a small area of coverage for users who do not have the ability to mount a rooftop antenna. If you require greater coverage area and can mount a rooftop antenna, the DA4000SBR (DA4KSBR-50U) provides up to 5000 sq ft of coverage.

The 4KPR-15R Personal Cell Phone repeater requires no physical connection to your phone. How does this work? The window mounted antenna receives the signal from the cell tower, the signal is amplified by the 4KPR-15R cell phone repeater and then repeated to your cell phone. This technology even allows clean and clear wireless functioning of multiple cell phones operating on 800 and 1900MHz bands simultaneously (coverage area up to 500 square feet).

Notes:

• A cell signal is REQUIRED at the location of the window antenna. Check cell signal by looking at the bars on your cell phone and by making and completing a test call. You must be able to make and complete a call at the location of the window antenna. The window antenna should be placed at the location where the cell signal is the strongest.
• Requires 10' of diagonal separation between window antenna and repeater unit. See 4KPR-15R Installation Instructions (PDF)
• The DA4000PR unit must face away from (have its backside facing) the window antenna and face the room requiring enhanced signal.
• The DA4000PR unit and window antenna can not be located above and below each other.
